To con- <br /> struct a ' X ' timber P.ier with 31 X 16 ' 8anZway, ' X 16 ' pile <br /> held float and stairway off Old Dock Lane. Doug Cameron of Braman En- <br /> gineering presenting. The question of vehicular access and a possible <br /> sedimentation problem was discussed at the previous hearing. Revised <br /> plans were presented. An area shaded in red shows rola rugosa and <br /> in green, a berm planted with american beach grass . <br /> Ms B harm n stated it should e clearly understood by those who use the <br /> dock that possibly they will have to walk through water on a high tide <br /> to get to the dock, <br /> Concerning vehicular access, Mr. Cameron stated there is a 30 foot ex- <br /> 0 <br /> sting way which they d'o not propose to eliminate. Between the berm <br /> and the edge of the woods is 6-8 feet, 'very narrow, which wouldmini- <br /> mize traffic. <br /> r <br /> Ms Behrman commented on the size of the dock in comparison to the one <br /> next to it. Mr. Cameron advised it is intended to be used for dinghys <br /> for the 15 lot subdivision but cannot hold 15 dinghys. Ms Be r an <br /> asked for a written commitment. that this is all that it is going to be <br /> used for. Mr . Cameron stated it is in the Notice of Intent andSpec- <br /> ial permit also. Ms Beh man could not find it in- the Notice of Intent <br /> and stated it should be written into it and referenced in the.- Order o <br /> Conditions. <br /> Lisa stated she would prefer to have the walkway Moved to the smaller <br />. area of marshy grass which would get the pier away from the problem o <br /> high tide and, fu;r her away from the dock next-. door. <br /> Mr. Cameron stated in orde* to get Coastal Zone Management consistency <br /> the float has to float and be fixed below Mean Low dater as spelled <br /> out in Policy One. Ms Behrm an requested a copy of CZM policy. <br /> Dave Ryan, Shellfish Officer, stated he encourages this type project <br /> for servicing several different families and in a way that is less . <br /> damaging by providing access to dinghys. There are no shellfish in the <br /> area. <br /> It was noted the float w.t 1 i be stored at Little River Boat Yard. <br /> Ms Behran <br />' pointed out the Notice of Intent stated an 8 X 16 float and <br /> the plan shows 8 X 20. An amendment to the Notice of Intent was re- <br /> quested. <br /> Vincent Lopes, an abutter , asked how far the town owns of the marsh at <br /> Punkhorn* <br /> Mr . Barns stated it is his belief the town owns all the marshland all <br /> the way out across from Gooseberry 'stand all around to the town land- <br /> ing. He further stated he is going to have it title searched . <br /> Ms Behrmn stated it will also be referred to Town Counsel . <br /> Mr. Lopes stated he is concerned with maneuvering his boat into his <br /> dock with the cLosene s of the float. Also , one of his mooring lines <br />
