Board of Health approved pending Conservation approval . The structure <br /> is going to be on piles due to veing in the flood zone. It is going to be four <br /> feet above existing grade on a pile foundation. A gravel driveway is proposed. <br /> Mrs. Ferriday stated the house should be roved to allow more distance, lr. <br /> eAskill stated he told Mr. Cohen that the impact, with the size of the project, <br /> was too big. They discussed chopping off some of the parts and eliminating <br /> driveways and Mr. Cohen agreed; he was concerned about the dock, but had no <br /> problem with eliminating the guest house. He advised the house is two story <br /> with three bedrooms. <br /> Nor. McAskill agreed to slide the house back 15 feet. He felt that some of the <br /> driveway could be li inated as well as the 'IT" section of the house. <br /> 1 . Carl Gra setti and Laurel McKelrey presenting. <br /> letter -dateJune 2 was read into the record stating the dredging of Amos Pond <br /> was deleted from the Notice of Intent. They request approval of a roadway cross- <br /> ing to include a 24 inch reinforced concrete culvert at station 4+00 on High St. <br /> and also installation of a 24 Inch reinforced concrete pipe- at station 9+90. <br /> They request that all conditions listed on pages 12 through 25 be made ars order <br /> of Conditions as discussed with Lisa Hanscom and Laurel McKelrey be rade respon- <br /> sible <br /> espon- <br /> sible in the field for protection and implementation of all above mentioned in an <br /> Order of. Conditions. Also, dames Ingram of Bartlett Tree Co.as consultant in <br /> the removal of necessary vegetation to perform this work and give assistance in <br /> performing all wetland revegetat i on. <br /> Mr, Gras. etti further stated the impact of the original Notice of Intent has <br /> been greatly reduced in density and takes all of the structures but one out of <br /> the buffer zone. The Planning Board ended up with a restricted clearing line <br /> which will be flagged and will be the work limit line. The work is consolidated. <br /> As time goes on, if the reed arises, they will come back in to talk about dredging. <br /> There is an old wooden sluice which will be removed; pipe will be dropped in on <br /> clean stone with clean stone on top of it. <br /> Mr. Ingram will be involved with the removal of trees and with what is replanted. <br /> Mrs. Ferriday asked if replication will take place at the same time. Laurel stated <br /> it would be and they will be using the same materials. They will remove the top <br /> 10 inches of organic ratter in the wetland area they are disturbing; stockpile i t; <br /> using 't as a nursery area adjacent to the proposed replication area which is low <br /> lying. Another 5 inches beneath will be used as the base for the replicated area. <br /> 1r. Grassetti stated a crane will be used, staying totally on the upland, with <br /> boom that can swing out, go down, and surgically remove the stock and bring material <br /> in. There will be a botanist physically there as the work goes on. Laurel will be <br /> there when the work is being done. <br />
