Mrs. Perry requested <br /> that a letter from Mrs. Ferrari be read into the record, against the <br /> dock . <br /> Mr . Joe Day - Resident of Seconsett Island for over 30 years. Recited <br /> some of the history of that area, There is not enough water in front of <br /> the Cummings house . The 6-ax has not changed verx much over the last 30 <br /> years. The tearing tip of weeds from the bottom caused terrible <br /> problems and an "awful stench" back when shell fishermen star ted using <br /> outboards in the 1501s. Outboards were chew i ng up the weeds in the flats on the <br /> south side of the bay, and this was washing up on the causeway to the <br /> island. It got so bad it actually took paint off houses.
