Sheldon Holzer seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously <br /> approved. <br /> * BOA Executive session Minutes <br /> Gregg Fraser made a motion that the minutes from the 710912914 Board of Assessors Executive <br /> Session be approved as presented, but not to be released. Sheldon Holzer seconded the motion. The <br /> motion was unanimously approved. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> * Discussion of FY 2015 Revaluation Progress <br /> Jason Streebel reported that the reliminary valuations were approved with public disclosure from <br /> October 10 through October 29 . All revaluations were made available for viewing at Town Hall, the <br /> Town website, at the Senior Center, and the Il a hpee Library. There was only one item requested for <br /> change, which was to add the sewer equipment and panels at the school and the Senior Center. The <br /> Town has a contract with the provider, GLC. The value added this year was $676,100 in <br /> assessments. <br /> Jason Streebel reported that the new revaluation is $4,578,286,120 in assessed value, ars increase of <br /> $177,945,490. This is a 4% increase in value over last year. Jason Streebel stated that he has <br /> submitted the values for file certification and hopes to receive those in the next two weeks. Jason <br /> Streebel submitted the new growth figure of$69,663,406. This would bring in $558,194 in new growth <br /> tax. Anticipated areas of new tax growth in l lashpee include Fells Pond cottages in New Seabu ry, <br /> Southport additional development growth, and 1l illowbend. The anticipated decrease in the tax rate i <br /> from 5 cents to 9 cents. <br /> 1 <br />
