s € <br /> i <br /> lASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> Minutes of August 31, 1389 <br /> Commissioners Present: Gertrude Simmons, Joseph Burns, <br /> Elliot Rosenberg, Patrick Coffey, Harry Desrosiers. <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:20 p.m. <br /> 7:45 Ibrahim Famous for a Determination of Applicability on <br /> a proposal to add dormers to second floor bedrooms; add <br /> sunroom over existing deck 1st floor, expand existing deck <br /> lst floor by S ft. and repair existing retaining wall using <br /> cement blocks at Lot 151 Spoondrift way. Mr. Fanous <br /> presenting. A cement block wall is to be repaired. The same <br /> footings will be used on the deck and work will be done by <br /> hand. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated he saw no problem with the project. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to issue a negative <br /> determination. <br /> NEGATIVE DETERMINATION ISSUED. <br /> An abutter present asked about trees on the lot line and was <br /> told there was no application to remove thea. <br /> 8:00 BROOKS BECKER for a determination of applicability on a <br /> proposal to pump and fill an existing cesspool with clear <br /> sand; and installation of a new subsurface disposal system at <br /> 2 Seconset Point Road. Elliot Rosenberg Stood Down. John <br /> Slavinsky of cape & Islands Surveying presenting, He advised <br /> there is no addition but the applicant wished to bring the <br /> septic to 'title V. The front of the house is 98 feet from <br /> Mrd auo i t Bay. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to issue a negative <br /> determination. <br /> NEGATIVE DETERMINATION ISSUED <br /> Mr. Blavinsky advised concerning the fees stated at the <br /> public hearing for dock engineering, he stated this could be <br /> done for much less and would be happy to sit down with the <br /> Commission to show where heavy engineering costs are; they <br /> are mostly in the design. He feels costs would be 50% of the <br /> igures started. <br /> 5;15 LITTLE FIVER BOA'T'YARD for a determination of <br /> applicability on a proposal to erect a fence; a concrete pad; <br /> repair of launching ramp and grading of yard at Little liver <br /> Boatyard, Riverside load.
