Cor!Corrm <br /> September 7, 1989 <br /> Page 3. <br /> Mrs, Simmons stated she would like reference to the work that is being done in <br /> Buttermilk Bay and Buzzards Bay, the upgrading of handling road run-off, before <br /> accepting a standard drainage ditch, <br /> Ms Behrman asked if gas traps wereplanned and was told they do not work. She <br /> stated it was necessary to maintain them <br /> Mr. Sherman advised the Town is meeting with Rep. Cah i r tomorrow to talk about <br /> the realignment of the intersection at Quinaquisset Ave. and suggested there <br /> should be some coordination of projects. He suggested they attend the meeting <br /> at Mshpee DPS . <br /> Ms Behrman suggested they ret with Town Planner and Mr. Ellis of the Water <br /> District also. <br /> Concerning the timetable of the Mass. DPW project, they stated that would depend <br /> on the State finances. <br /> Mr, Coffey advised, aside from the wetland issues, there is a Rotary By-Pass study <br /> Committee ittee looking at plans, Torn Planner is on the Committee. Mr. Fa l .cc i stated he was <br /> not aware these lots were to be a solution, She asked if they have resolved the <br /> drainage issue? He stated, through their investigations, they feel it was a <br /> phenomenon that would occur only once in a lifetime, <br /> Mrs, Simmons asked Mr. Sherman for recent photos than were above and beyond the <br /> once in a lifetime. <br /> Mr. Thorng asked if it could be determined where the flooding is occurring in <br /> relation to lots 80 and 81. <br /> Mrs. Simmons, pointing to -a plan displayed, stated they were unable to get to <br /> lots 80 and 81 as the water was waist deep at the crossroad. Ms Behrman added <br /> the road was 4' under water at the intersection. <br />
