A sub-committee consisting of Gertrude Simmons, Patrick Coffey, <br /> Harry De r niers, to meet with Bob Sherman. <br /> SHELLFISH SURVEYS: Paul Somerville to be asked for ars opinio.n on all docks. <br /> DPW REQUEST-QUI A lSSET AVE: Mr. Sherman advised drainage water will be received <br /> n the property but it does not classify as a vegetated wetland. <br /> It was agreed to recommend whatever changes are made not add to the drainage already <br /> going into the existing depression. <br /> OTIS AIR FORCE BASE: A copy of a letter was read from the Air National Guard to <br /> Dr. McDonald. It was agreed this work will require a Notice of Intent. <br /> CHARLES V I LAS: Enforcement Order issued. <br /> EDWARD D OVONI : A letter from Kevin Kirrane was read requesting resolution of the <br /> litigation. Nor. Sherman advised, in issues where a tern has denied, under their <br /> bylaw, DEP will no longer follow up until resolved through the local courts; they <br /> will hold thea in abeyance until settled. Town Counsel to be consulted for his <br /> opinion as to the Commission's chances in a court case. Elliot Rosenberg to be <br /> consulted also, Fat Coffey to contact Lis'a Hanscom. <br /> NEW SEABURY: A letter was read requesting to protect the dunes aga i st coastal <br /> storm prior to the filing of a Notice of Intent, as an emergency measure. <br /> It was agreed they should file the Notice and if threatened by storm, they <br /> can erect the fence. <br /> MOS KD I T : A request h a s been received to amend the Orderof Conditions to place <br /> yews in front of the deck. <br /> Vote: Motion made and seconded to accept the amendment as proposed. <br /> MA RIA JOHNSON: An oak tree on the property is outside the work limit but branches <br /> are touching the house. Jim Ingram has proposed to do pruning and removal of one- <br /> half <br /> ne- <br /> alf the tree. <br /> It was agreed the tree work could proceed. A proper plan for the proposed enlarge- <br /> ment of deck area should be provided and the site staked for the agent to view. <br /> The Order of conditions could then be amended. <br /> ARTICLES FOR TOWN MEETING: <br /> 1 . 37-1/2 hours for the secretary. Figures show the new filing fees will offset <br /> costs and the position will be funded. A 4 vote of the Selectmen will be nec- <br /> essary to put the article on the warrant. <br /> VOTE* Motion made and seconded to submit the article for secretarial services. <br /> 2. Section 0-21D - Ability of the conservation Agent to give citations. This <br /> cannot be enacted until voted and the Attorney General 's approval received. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to submit this article for town meeting. <br />
