An RDA was positive and a Notice of Intent requested. concern was <br /> expressed for the stability of the bank after removal of the pine trees by the <br /> steps. He contacted the Mass Cooperative Extension Agency and Soil Conservation <br /> Service for recommendations. They recommend the planting of Rosa. Rugosa or Beach <br /> plum; three plants around each stump. <br /> Question was also raised about the pruning of the existing beach plum. They are <br /> asking for a one-time cut to be made to allow for further evaluation before any <br /> additional permitting would be sought in the future. They promise to replant any <br /> of the beach plum adversely effected by the pruning. <br /> Nor.
