Chris Riel of IEP presented copies of the Locus Maps
and attestation of ownership forms. A letter of introduction reviewed to date
and an addendum listed work to be done and the impact on the wetland resource..
Section B to the right has had repair work performed by Mr. Spousta. Section A
is s portion of the remaining seawall on which he would like to perform similar
renovation work. The remaining portion to the loft of section A is in good
enough condition not to require work at this time.
He did not disagree with D.E.P, ls comment that the potential resource that may be
impacted is an inland coastal bank.
Dimensions on the plan are the sane as the seawall currently existing there. It
was built in 1966 by Mr, Spousta and has deteriorated from natural ware activity
as well as water craft induced wave activity as there is a boat launching ramp
to the south of the property.
An Order of conditions is being requested to permit renovations done, as well as the
proposed on Section A. Pictures were shown. The new construction will contain
Rebar; 2" diameter weepholes will be included for drainage. The footing will be
" below the level f the gravel in the pond.
Mr. Spousta advised the original was 6-8" but there was no Rebar in it which
caused it to break up.
Ms Beh rman stated there is eddying at the end of the wall .
Nor. Rie l advised there is no evidence of erosion on adjacent property. If a
concern, they would be willing to pour an apron.
Mr, Coffey asked if they will be bringing in a Form Crew and was told it will all
be done by hard by Mr. Spousta. He would be bringing in a 3000 pound single pour.
Mr. Coffey pointed out the profile shows two feet below water level . * Spousta
stated below water level , yes, -8" of that below ground level * Mr. Coffey stated
it looks like i t is imbedded two feet into the ground.
