Publ i c Forks Building Committee <br /> Minutes of October 15, 1984 <br /> Page 2. <br /> Architect's report to the Committee continued <br /> Completed and stored to date - $170,027.8 <br /> Retainage 8,501 . <br /> Total of previous certificates <br /> of Payment -- 97,173.60 <br /> Masonry: $45,835. of $58,000. contract. 5% has been withheld. <br /> Leo Sweeney was in agreement with amounts allowed. <br /> In answer to Mr. Wyl l ie's question of the percentage numbers, Ellis stated <br /> the percent figures questioned will be changed. <br /> The damage caused by the mason will be repaired. The Electrical man has been <br /> there already. The Clerk of the Works includes this information in his daily <br /> reports, It will be retested and the architect will oversee the repairs. <br /> VOTE: Moved and seconded to approve payment to Triple A Engineering, Inc. <br /> in the amount of $64,352.15. Unanimous vote, <br /> Modern Roofing has been notified and i s scheduled to be finished this week. <br /> The roof is heat sealed and put together with pressure. <br /> Mr. Brown asked if the gas company has been paid for the line from the street <br /> main to the meter as they will not start the ,fob until paid <br /> Ellis stated the contractor is aware he has to pay. <br /> Mr. Re asked if the site t an could not work at the septic system, gas trap, <br /> trench to the well , etc. , to take advantage of this good weather. The prob- <br /> lem pertains only to the aspect of site grading. <br /> Ellis stated now that the mason i s off the job, the work should begin. <br /> Mr. Re stated the Selectmen and Town Counsel want it known that if the job <br /> proceeds like this, they want another letter issued as the DCPO requires 3 <br /> letters be issued before action is commenced. }i <br /> Ellis advised he will be working on the four change orders this week and will <br /> have information for the next meeting. concerning payment to the subs , to his <br /> knowledge, the contractor has paid the bills that have been rendered., <br /> It was noted there i s approximatel,y $24,000 in the contingency fund. <br /> It was agreed that if there is a shortage of funds and Ernie Virgilio is in <br /> the building, the Clerk of the Works position could be eliminated <br />
