This is agreeable if not an extra; If power is to come in underground, <br /> it should be done within the net ten days. <br /> El 1 i s stated it should not be an extra and did not know if the Power was going <br /> under or over. Copies of transmittals of approvals were given to Mr. Cartier, <br /> as requested. He also stated he had not seen a print of the line going under- <br /> g rou nd t <br /> Ellis advised- the committee he had not received a change order for the change <br /> from three phase to single phase. <br /> Chester Brown informed the comm i ttee that on the northwest end where they are <br /> pushing fill over the edge there are several trees that are not covered up. <br /> He stated they are behind schedule on the septic system, well pit, site grading <br /> work and exterior paintirig. Everything else seems to be on schedule. He stated <br /> the gas service line is in and the delay in the gas company starting was due to <br /> the contractor not addressing the check to the attention of Mr. Twi to, <br /> The committee was info wed the contractor must get a permit from the Chief of <br /> Police in order to work on Monday, the holiday. Ellis agreed to advise the <br /> contractor. <br /> Mr. Re stated Jack Cartier is trying to get a backhoe in order to make holes <br /> to test the concrete. He asked Ellis if there is any point in going through <br /> the retesting, if it has already tested at 2500 which he said was acceptable. <br /> Ellis advised it is up to the contractor. Either a small credit would be given <br /> to the town i f i t approves the concrete, or he can go on to prove it tests at <br /> 000- oo, <br /> Joe DiMaggio stated he called the Byrnes sand & Gravel Co. and the difference <br /> amounts to approximately $2.00 per yard. <br /> John Wyllie asked Ellis 1'f he felt the concrete delivered tested at 2500 1 bs. <br /> Ellis stated he did. Mr. Wyllie then asked if he considered 2500 lb. test <br /> adequate for this building. Ellis stated he did. <br /> El 1 i s stated the person who wants to make the test is the concrete supplier <br /> who feels that he can prove the concrete is 3000 lb. , at his expense. <br /> There was discussion of an accident at the jobs i to concerning Masaschi equip- <br /> ment <br /> quip- <br /> vent and a workman's car. Ellis advised the committee the problem has nothing <br /> to do with the town. He has advised the owner of the vehicle how to proceed. <br /> Concerning the septic system and well housing, it was noted Jack Cartier stated <br /> he may give an ultimatum to Masaschi and may have to bank-charge him. <br />
