Publ i c Works Building committee <br /> Meeting of March 13* 1985 <br /> Page 3. <br /> There was discussion of the guard bumpers for trucks in the garage. Ellis <br /> recommended angle irons be bolted to the blocks at the eight outside corners <br /> of the doors so that blocks would net be damaged. <br /> Mr. Wyl 1 i e suggested Ellis make a sketch of what is being proposed and a <br /> meeting be arranged with Selectman Hanson for his approval . <br /> Mr. Wyllie advised he received a call from Sang Re expressing his disagree- <br /> ment with the amount paid on the grading in the last requisition. <br /> A letter from the Board of Health was read requesting the test results of <br /> the water. tl l i s advised they hada a copy of the results today. <br /> The secretary was instructed to send a memo to Mr. Virgilio advising a <br /> notice should be placed on all water taps warning of the high sodium level , <br /> to conform to the letter of March 5 from the Board of Health. <br /> There was discussion of solutions to the water problem and Mr, Di Maggi o <br /> stated it was not a problem to raise or lower the point. He agreed to con- <br /> tact a local well drilling company to get a cast for a test well before <br /> the next meeting. He further stated if satisfactory water quality is <br /> found at a level above or below the current point and the test well is <br /> there for verification, the well man should raise or lower the point at <br /> no charge to the town, <br /> Ellis stated the well man, Bishop, would be agreeable to this as the specs <br /> call for him to provide water that i s satisfactory. <br /> It was noted that Swedish capper was not used in the building and there was <br /> no mention of copper in the report. <br /> The minutes of March 4 were reviewed. <br /> Ellis pointed out that the contractor will be cleaning up the grounds at <br /> the site as this is part t of his contract. <br /> VOTE: Moved and seconded to accept the minutes of March 4, 1985 as <br /> written. Unanimous. <br /> Meeting was adjourned at 9:35 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Diana M.
