i <br /> Page 2. <br /> Publ is Works Building Committee <br /> Meeting of April 16, 1985 <br /> Old Business: <br /> Ellis advised Aaron is looking into the pump in the well . <br /> He has not contacted Bonito regarding the ,yard work. <br /> The gauge is not yet on the compressor. He will contact Jack Cartier. <br /> Concerning the question of private subs coming hack to the town for pay- <br /> ment, Mr. Re agreed to meet with Joseph Reardon for an opinion. <br /> A letter was dictated to be sent to the Board of Health requesting avail- <br /> able <br /> vail- <br /> abla data concerning the observation test well and the individual wells <br /> drilled to the east of the site concerning sodium, iron and conductivity. <br /> The committee was advised the painter, Mr} Jo is, called Ellis Laycock and <br /> refused to return to the job because of money owed to him. He was notified <br /> he must return and perform the work contracted for, if under protest. Ellis <br /> stated he would send a letter in this regard and call him tomorrow to get him <br /> on the job. <br /> There was discussion of the $100, per day penalty for the period from 1/29 <br /> through 3/1 . Ellis advised this was 23 working days and there is no penalty <br /> involved as there were four weeks of delays. The change in site plan was <br /> responsible for a one week delay. <br /> The minutes of April 10 were reviewed. <br /> VOTE: Moved and seconded to accept the minutes of April 10, 1985, as written. <br /> There being no further business to cone 'before the comm i ttee, meeting was <br /> adjourned at 9:00 p.m. <br /> Respectfully s u bm i.tted, <br /> Diana M.
