PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING COMMITTEE MEETING of JUNE 18S 1985 i The following members of the public Works Building Committee were present for the' meeting held at the Public Works facility: Samuel C. Re, John Wyllie, Anthony Fi orenti ni and Ernest Virgilio,, Also present was Ellis Laycock. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. The chairman read the list of remaining items from the punch list received from the architect. Ellis stated painters , carpenters and a mason would be required to finish the inside work. Ell is repp_r�ed a rivet was sheared on the lift and .can be replaced. Also, the door from the office to the garage is jammed the same as the door to the Paint and sign roam. Painter, He has been advised of the short comings on the outside and has state he will return to take care of this Manual Operation of the doors: Parma has agreed to return this week} He will be--instructed to call a ore coming in order that someone may be prey ent to be instructed in the manual operation of the doors, Well : The committee was informed Bishop is the lowest bidder. To provide: 110 feet of 4 inch PVC well from present grade; 6 feet of 4 inch stainless steel 20 slot screen, Five hour pump test at 40 GPM including development. Remove pump from well and install in new well complete with five hour pump test at 40 GPM, Instal 1 ati on of p i tl es s adapter and miscellaneous labor and parts to change the pump. $2621 ,,00 After discussion, Mr. Re agreed to meet with Joseph Murphy to have a purchase order initiated to enable Bishop to proceed immediately. A letter of intent wll follow. A date for installation will be requested and the committee should be notified in order that a member will be present* El 1 i s agreed to write a letter to the bonding company advising the town i s taking over the well portion of the job and will allude to other items,, John Wyllie requested a brochure showing the number and the curv-e of the pump be provided by Bishop, VOTE: Moved and seconded to approve the issuance of a purchase order to Pilgrim pump co. for $2621 -.00 to install a new well with. the intent** ion of back-charging Triple A and the bonding company to be notified by Ellis Laycock. Unanimous VOTE; Moved and seconded to approve payment to McGann Bronze Inc. in the amount of $529.50, Second 1/2 payment $492.50 Total $529.50 Shipping charges 3 *00 VOTE: Moved and seconded to approve payment to D. A. Scannell for the test well in the amount of $500.00. Unanimous
