Conservation Corrmission <br /> February 1 , 1994 <br /> Page 12. <br /> Ms Lannik stated. the Commission should issue a formal protest. She felt material <br /> should not leave the office. <br /> V=: Motion made and seconded to make an official policy that any docimient <br /> pertaining to any filing may not go out of .the office and if a previous <br /> policy was voted, it is reaffirmed. Unanimous vote. <br /> letter will be written to lir. Henchy that the plans must be returned within <br /> 10 days with a copy to the water district and selectmen. <br /> Nutrient cr/Cluster subdivision: To be discussed next 'agenda. <br /> Herring Issues: There will be a meeting on March 8 at 10:00 a.m. of the ad hoc <br /> committee working on herring issues. Those attending are Leigh Potter, Judy Mills, <br /> Steve Hurley, Ken Riebach, and two private citizens who are interested in herring <br /> issues. <br /> Budget r omendation : A. note received today from the Executive Secretary stated <br /> a meeting was scheduled with the selectmen for this afternoon, four hours notice. <br /> Mrs. Ferriday called. the Selectmen's office and stated the notice was too short <br /> and requested another date, <br /> Report: Copies of the,report were distributed for review. <br /> Appointment: The Executive Secretary advised there was no action taken by the <br /> Selectmen concernincr the Commission's -request that John Fitzsimmons be appointed <br /> to full voting member. They have asked the Coffmssion to submit other names,, <br /> Mr. Fitzsimons advised he received information why he was not endorsed, one of <br /> the Selectmen is under the impression he would..not go out on,site visits. <br /> The Chairman will contact Judy Mills `arideorg e Costa. <br /> Mr. Homeyer advised he was unhappy-with having been called' <br /> "of the Public <br /> Hearing he was attending!as ',Vice Chairman of, the waterways o E-11i scion. He had <br /> given Conservation notice he could not attend hearings on that might. lie was <br /> disturbed with the constant quorum problems that best the Commission with the <br /> numb of Commissioners ,and'A sociates.who do not attend hearings. <br /> rt � .., <br /> Water District'Ea ment: They <br /> tehe �are requesting ars easement over town owned land <br /> for water development rights. The area is not within 100 feet of any wetland. <br /> Mr. Sherman was not happy with the language of the easement. He asked permission <br /> to fax a copy to rs Lannik for an opinion. The Corssion agreed. <br /> Stenberg <br /> Vote: Motion rade and seconded, to accept the donation of land by <br /> Herbert P. Stenberg, <br /> Vote: Motion made and seconded to send a letter of acknowledgement <br /> -to Y1r. Stenberg and state the value of the gland. <br /> Town Niaeting Article: ,Article concerning abutter notification has been subrdtted. <br /> Pospite Ban: Phosphates are banned in detergents as of July 1, 1994. It is <br /> planned to sena out a joint letter with the Board of Health to retailers. <br /> The Agent will discuss same With the Board of Health and also a newspaper article. <br />
