HASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> Minutes s une 30F 1994 <br /> Commissioners present* Gertrude Simmons-Ferriday, Susanna <br /> Lannik, John Fitzsimmons, Charles Green, Robert Lopez, <br /> Harry Desrosiers. Frank Romeyer arrived at 7 : 17 p. m. <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7 : 00 p. m. and Associate <br /> member Lopez appointed a voting member. <br /> 6: 55 PUHLI ' HNHT PERIOD: None . <br /> 7:00 JACOB B. SHAMMASH, 64 Popponesset Island Road, <br /> continued from 2 June 1994 . Dave san.icki presenting with D . <br /> Mrs. Shammash. <br /> Mrs. Ferriday stepped down for this hearing. <br /> Mr. Green stated he was not present at the last hearing as he <br /> attended the Title V hearing for the Commission. He stated <br /> he would step down also. <br /> The Chairman stated that would not be necessary, to read the <br /> minutes of the previous hearing and sit in. <br /> Mr. sanicki stated the Commission requested a letter from the <br /> Board of Health ire the existing septic system and the <br /> capacity calculated to be sufficient for eight bedrooms. <br /> Also requested was architectural plans; everything has been <br /> provided. <br /> A negative determination was authorized for a second floor <br /> addition. That proposal would have more bedrooms that is <br /> being proposed presently. In Mr. anicki ' s opinion, this <br /> proposal is less detrimental than the previously approved <br /> RDA. <br /> Mr. Sherman asked, for the record, is the current number of <br /> bedrooms four? with the addition, would they remove the <br /> bedroom in the basement? Mr. Sanicki stated they would keep <br /> the bedrooms at four. Mr. Sherman asked is that with the new <br /> addition's They will be maintaining four bedroom. The <br /> criteria for bedroom i , if it lacks privacy and locks, it is <br /> not a bedroom. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated since nutrient loading is a consideration, <br /> he read the waquoit Day position paper dated 2127-28192 which <br /> is based upon three studies. This was initialed as part of <br /> the record. <br /> Mr. Homeyer arrived at 7 : 17 p. m. <br /> Ir. sanicki pointed out the addition approved under the RDA <br /> is in effect until 1/13/95 . They would have a total of six <br /> bedrooms under that approved plan <br /> Dr. shammash stated they want to live pant of the year here <br /> and do not want to go upstairs to a bedroom. The additional <br /> area is 24 x 34 and 800 s. f. will come off the lawn. The <br />
