Way. Mr. Bousa presenting, He has an older <br /> house that has four feet of foundation showing. They will <br /> bring the grade to two feet instead of four and will grow <br /> roses, <br /> Mr. Sherman stated there is an area of concern for erosion <br /> Ir. Sousa stated he will put in a wall and mulch to control <br /> erosion. A copy of the plan was provided. To a question of <br /> fertilizer, Nor. Sousa stated it is only done two times per <br /> year. Yews on the left will remain, <br /> Mr, Sousa agreed to a suggestion that blueberry bushes be <br /> placed between the wall and yews. He has been working at this property for many <br /> years and the last time vista pruning was done was 1958. <br /> Mr. Sherman asked how much understory was being removed, <br /> Mr. Allenby stated they were only lifting, opening up and <br /> getting more light for growth on the ground. The trees are <br /> too heavy. <br /> Ir. Sherman met at the site with Mr. Allenby and the request <br /> is not unreasonable. However, theme is no way to put down on <br /> piece of paper the work to be dare in order to protect the <br /> ommissionts interests. They did agree on what is to be <br /> done but disagreed on the timing. He has asked that the work <br /> be done in the winter time; lir.. l lenby objects strongly. <br /> Mr, Allenby asked what he would be doing that would endanger <br /> habitat. This is a steep bank. <br /> lrs. Ferriday stated unless a naturalist visited the site, it <br /> would be difficult to evaluate. <br />
