This is a small town-owned <br /> lot he is trying to develop to alleviate parking problems for <br /> fishermen, 'There is no boat ramp, just a place to park to go <br /> clamming. <br /> The Agent asked for a one tie wall around the parking area, <br /> 1 , after a certain time, there is a channelized path, steps <br /> would be taken to ameliorate that. Mr. Ellis agreed. <br /> Mr, Green asked the width? It is 40 feet with 5 on each <br /> side. Where is a natural path there already. <br /> Mr, Ellis stated there are barriers on the adjoining lots <br /> because people have been parking in their yards. <br /> Mr. Green wanted the walkway defined if the area is going to <br /> e opened to the public. Mr. Fitzsimmons agreed.. <br /> Mrs. Ferriday asked how many people would use this? Mr. <br /> .lis stated, some days there would be two three people, <br /> Mr. Fitzsimmons stated a parking lot will encourage more <br /> people. lir., Ellis stated it is being used now illegally. <br /> Mr. Sherman suggested trying it for the summer; a walkway <br /> might have to be put i , over the marsh. Since this leads to a' <br /> salt marsh, he would not want to focus access over just one <br /> spot. This can be conditioned <br /> Mr. Ellis would like to develop one lot a year on the <br /> waterfront. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to find a negative <br /> determination with the condition this be re-evaluated <br /> in six months to see if there is excess traffic over <br /> the marsh. <br /> NEGATIVE WITH CONDITIOKS, <br /> 7: COTUIT BAY CONDOMINIUM TRUST for a Determination o <br /> Applicability on a request to complete the installation o <br /> security lighting at the rear of buildings , # , #11, <br /> and 14, Quinaquisset Avenue. They will hand dig where necessary and <br /> lay cable which will be immediately covered, <br /> Mr, Sherman asked if there was any objection to staking out <br /> where poles will be going before ore he walks the site with them. <br /> Also, the lights should be focused so they swine back to the <br /> building, not on the bark; there are nocturnal critters that <br /> would be bothered. his -was agreeable to the applicant. <br /> Public comments: none. <br />
