7:20 DIRECTOR,, KASHPEE DEPT. of PUBLIC WORKS, for a Determination of Applicability on overlaying the existing pavement and widening 18 inches on each side of the shoulder to provide for bicycles on Route 151, from Falmouth Town line to 1000 feet past Old Barnstable Road. Greg Taylor presenting. The project was approved in 1993 without widening. The state is providing funding. Before granting funding, they received an application from Falmouth to do work on 151 which included an 1811 wide bike lanes on each side of the road. The cape Cod Commission felt the project should have an air quality measure. He has walked it with the Agent. There will be no vegetation cut, They will be charging the shoulder from casual vegetation to pavement. There are six areas. - Mr. Sherman stated there is only one area of a minor concern. He can revisit to make sure hayales are in place. Mr. Taylor stated they want to start in the Spring. Lawrence Lynch will be doing the work. The Agent will meet with Mr. Taylor and Lawrence Lynch before work begins. Mr. Green -asked if there will be any bering Only where the slope of the lot is over 1%. They would not want to keep the water in the road; that would be hazardous. This will tie into Falmouth at 28A which would be the link to Bourne and the canal. Mr. Green would be concerned with the area between Andy's Market -and John's Pond Estates. Mr. Sherman suggested Mr. Green join they[ on the on-site, Public comments: none. VOTE: Motion made and seconded to find a Negative Determination with the condition that they maintain haybales for six months in select areas, Unanimous Vote,. NEGATIVE WITH CONDITIONS. THOMAS M. QUINN to amend the Order of Conditions for S 43-1315 to permit a proposed stairway for access over the coastal bank at 130 Su.mmersea Road, Mrs. Ferriday offered to step down as an abutter. There was no one present for this hearing and she asked if it should be denied without prejudice or continued? The Agent advised this is a steep bank and he would not want to deny.
