7:30 RALPHB. SHAW to replace ars existing porch, replace <br /> screens with windows, and extend the parch approximately <br /> feet to provide a protected entrance at 84 Lakewood Drive, <br /> The Chairman advised this hearing is being held under <br /> Regulation 29 and 30 of Chapter 172. <br /> Mr. Shaw advised the existing porch was deteriorated by water <br /> damage, It is a very sandy sloped area. Sono tubes will be <br /> used for the extension, <br /> Mr. Sherman did not foresee any negative consequences but <br /> would like to see it remain unheated, which can be <br /> conditioned. Mr. Shaw agreed. Mr* Sherman stated slope <br /> stabilization is needed and was told this has been done. <br /> This will be monitored. The Agent will meet with him to <br /> check what has been done and what will need to be done in the <br /> future, Mr. Shaw agreed. <br /> Mrs. Ferriday asked if a french drain would help? 14 . <br /> Sherman stated something will be needed. lir. Shaw had no <br /> problem with a french drain or gutters and dry ells. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated the hearing could be closed at the next <br /> meeting and he would look at it in the meantime. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to dose after receipt of the <br /> DEP number and results of the site visit with added <br /> condition that the Commission be allowed to revisit the <br /> site for erosion and to Bee that no bedroom was added* <br /> TO BE CLOSED AFTER RECEIPT OF DBP NUMBER AND RESULTS OF SITE <br /> VISITS <br /> RICHARD M. CUSH'ER to amend the order of Conditions for <br /> SE 4 -1091 to permit a change in design for the proposed pier- <br /> at 22 Samoset Road. Michael McGrath presenting. <br /> Mr. McGrath advised this was -authorized in a different design <br /> but Waterways gave notice and an objection was filod. This <br /> is an attempt to adjust the design to satisfy all parties. <br /> Mr. Sherman asked where Mr. Cushner will deck his boats? <br /> Mr. McGrath advised boats using the pier will be two vessels <br /> (he read from the order of Conditions and they will be tied <br /> up on the north side. <br /> Mr, Sherman asked if he intends to put them the same way and <br /> he did. Be did not have a problem with the concept but felt <br /> the hearing should not be closed ,until. the Shellfish Warden <br /> has a chance to speak on this. <br /> Mr, Fitzsimmons stated that is unfair to the applicant, to <br /> hold thein up while waiting for a report from Shellfish <br /> The Chairman searched the file for a previous report from the <br /> Shellfish Warden and found none. <br />
