13 - <br /> Mr. Lopez stated he might get an idea from DEM. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg will review Town Counsel's opinion. <br /> HOXIE-PHILIE: Revegetation estimates for the bank of the <br /> Mashpee River; vegetation replacement on the two flume areas <br /> and a spot on the upper Quashnet where kids have been going <br /> up and down. <br /> The Agent stated the concern is whether the town is going to <br /> give money for fixing the head of the river; if not, there is <br /> no reason to vegetate the banks. <br /> TOWN HALL RENOVATION PLAN: After review, the Commission <br /> agreed that what is proposed would not be adequate. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to notify the proper <br /> parties that the proposed space for Conservation <br /> is not acceptable. <br /> TOWN MEETING ARTICLES: Distributed for review. The Agent <br /> advised the content of page two was approved by Town Counsel <br /> but she has questions. The language was approved. The Agent <br /> will fine-tune #2 with Mr. Rosenberg. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded that the articles be <br /> submitted after final review by Town Counsel <br /> The Agent stated the Cape Cod Cranberry growers are going to <br /> be at us on the articles dealing with agriculture. It <br /> will be necessary to line up support. He may need to get up <br /> on town meeting floor to answer questions. <br /> MACC CONVENTION: Reports from those who attended were <br /> solicited. To be discussed next agenda. <br /> WILDLIFE REFUGE: The Agent advised this is going well. He <br /> was asked by George Costa to go to Washington with him to <br /> talk about the wildlife habitat. The Commission gave him <br /> permission to go. <br /> AGENT'S SCHEDULE: Mr. Sherman advised he will be having <br /> surgery in the next month or two. It will be in and out in a <br /> couple of days. <br /> DOCKS: There will be a meeting with the selectmen on Monday <br /> night concerning docks over town-owned property. Town <br /> Counsel gave a series of options. The Town could accept <br /> those that have been there a long time and give them <br /> licenses. The Agent will settle this issue with Town <br /> Counsel. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg will review Town Counsel's opinion. <br /> LENK/JERMYN: The on-site was cancelled again and rescheduled <br /> for April . <br /> REWARD: Mrs. Lund suggested having the constable post the <br /> reward poster at town locations. The cost is less than <br /> placing it in the newspaper and will remain visible for a <br />
