r
NEGATIVE DETKRMINATION,,
THOMAS M. QUINN, 130 summersea Road, continued from
March 1995, Thomas Doyle presenting.
Mrs, Ferriday offered to step down as an abutter; no one
objected to her sitting for thi hearing.
The agent had asked to have stairs put in because of the
impact to the bank when the dock was put in. They were asked
to come in with a proper plan for the stairway; this is that
plan, They have agreed to put back any vegetation necessary.
The construction methodology was detailed by Mr, Doyle.
Mrs. Ferriday stated there is shrubbery that if cut out will
cause erosion problems. There are areas that will have to be
planted.
1r. Sherman stated another plan will be needed. It would be
a good idea to terrace and put pressure treated timbers,
2 x 's perpendicular. This can be conditioned and also an
inspection when finished. He asked if they will be willing
to do replanting? They would. There is no drywell, only a
splash pad, this should be corrected. He asked if they would
install a drywell . lir. Doyle had no problem with that.
Mrs. Ferriday stated planting will be conditioned along the
base of the bank where high water has eroded.
Mr. Doyle advised under the deck there are some railroad ties
retaining the patio that are starting to crumble -and asked if
these can be replaced with pressure treated lumber?
Mr. Sherman stated this could be the subject of another
amended order, He asked when they will be starting and asked
to meet at the site before then.
i
Public comments: none.
OTE: Motion Made and seconded to close pending pre-
construction on-site, addition of drywell on the NE
corner of the house, compensatory plantings and a
past-construction on-site.
CLOSED PENDING.
7:40 WALTERSPENCER WIGHTNAN, 419 Monomoscoy Road,d, continued
from 2 March 1995. Mike Borselli presenting with Mr.
Wightman. At the last- hearing, some issues were raised by
the Shellfish Warden and Harbormaster and a consensus has
been reached. The float has been revised to 8 x 11 a
reduction of 4 feet on the landward side to prevent bottoming
out. one additional stringer has been added.
There -were questions about the location of the gazebo, it
will be moved back 15 feet, They have satisfied all concerns
of the board.
