1 <br /> Asked how far the Commission's jurisdiction extended, Mr, <br /> Sherman stated from the pond to the ocean. <br /> Question was raised if it is proper to approve part of this <br /> application? <br /> ,HEARING CONTINUED TO 11 MAY 1995 AT 7:50 a N <br /> 8:50 DEPT. OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT to amend the order of <br /> Conditions for SF 43 .1308 to include south Cape Beach site <br /> improvements, South Cape Beach State Park. Paul Botelho <br /> presenting. The Amendment is to allow gate installation, a <br /> second at the end where the trailer is, a pipe type date; <br /> installation of four portable compost toilets, two at each <br /> parking lot area, to be removed at the end of the season and <br /> stored in the fenced in area. <br /> Asked if they would be removed for an impending hurricane, <br /> Ir, Botelho stated they would, They also intend to install <br /> chemical, toilets south of the walkway to the ver-dune <br /> access. Also shown on the plan is a culvert repair at <br /> station + 0 and construction of a contact station 61 X 8,1 <br /> on skids; reve fetation per the Order of Conditions and repair <br /> of 1.5' x 15f area with a gravel berm.. <br /> Mrs. Ferriday asked how the toilets were fastened dawn? They <br /> are tanks set in the ground four feet with the upper part <br /> bolted into the tank, The Chemical tank will have a skid <br /> that can be bolted. <br /> Mr, Botelho stated the proposed contact station is the <br /> location of the gate. <br /> Mr, Rosenberg asked ed if the date at MacGregor Road would cross <br /> Great Oak Road and it will not, <br /> Mr. Sherman stated the plans should be date stamped t <br /> identify that they are different than the original, <br /> Mr. Rosenberg stated it would make sense to approve this as <br /> per plan. <br /> Mr, Sherman stated they would have to re-engineer a plan. <br /> Mr. Fitzsimmons asked to see a plan with toilet locations. <br /> Mr, Botelho stated he highlighted the areas. <br /> Mrs, Ferriday suggested when the heaver egyipm nt is out of <br /> there, the culvert should be reassessed. <br /> Mr, Lopez suggested they install the whole -thing at one time <br /> instead of coring back. Mr, Sherman stated taking care of <br /> the eels of the culvert will take care of the problem, <br /> Mr, Rosenberg suggested, instead of talking about replacing <br /> the ends, if going to make an amendment, make it maintenance <br /> and replacement, if it fails. It will give thea latitude. <br /> Mr. Botelho agreed. <br />
