The situation has been complicated by lack of water as the fiber rolls have to be wet to plant within them . Mr . Sharpe stated the rip-rap should go in before anything else to stop siltation . i The Agent suggested putting i t off until spring; hopefully , Chapter 91 will be received . e advised Tom c a h r" is working on this . Mr . Green agreed anything now would be a waste . Mr . Sherman would like Permission to go with the low bidder , to be done in the spring . only two offered full ser i ces' f planting and fiber rolls . The low bidder is $7115 and they would be willing to sena down a worker on a weekend when the Commission would have volunteers � He explored buyingthe plants by the Commission but it would not be possible to get all the varieties of plants . They supply bare root stock but not the plantings . If they cannot hold the price if done in the spring , he will core back to the Commission next meeting . VOTE: Motion made and seconded to allow the Agent to handle the ratter- and order plants from New England Wetland Plants and see if they can hold the Price Until spring . Unanimous Vote . Mr . Sherman may be able to get the Price down more ; he i exploring getting the stakes locally . The waiver fora has been sent to Town Counsel. . AGENT'S VEHICLE: Mr . Sherman advlsed he was told by the Executive Secretary , if it is necessary to use his own vehicle , coverage is provided by the town insurance . He asked for a Grote to get that in writing . Ms Lanni k stated there should be a letter requesting that portion of the insurance policy covering town employees use of their vehicles . Also , the Executive Secretory advised if called out by the Police , the police will be toad to stop work until the Agent gets there . hie asked ked to be able to write a memo of understanding to the Police ,.
