3 October 1996
Page 5.
Mr. Nation read from the easement. The dock is clearly not large enough for
two fames and is only in use three months. Adding a small amount of dock
more environmentally sound than constructing a neer dock and.float.
W. York stated he looked at the dock and it is one foot shallower in the area.
The back float rests on the bottom. He recommended pout on float stops or
replace it with a wed walkway. There is sufficient water where the new float
is proposed. Mr. Nation had no problem with the-suggestions but preferred
the float stops. Mr. Sherman stated this could be conditioned.
There was discussion on the size of the floats. Mr. Dation advised they are 2
12 and 6 x 2 . Asked if the plan is correct, it is.
Ir. Rosenberg advised if the people on Lot 14 and 15 wanted to build a dock,
the only people who could prevent them from doing so is the people on Lot 12
and 13. He suggested a condition this expansion is permitted only so long as
there is no dock on the adjacent property.
Mr. Nation stated he would need the additional square footage if the dock was
not shared. W. Rosenberg stated that might be true, but he may not always
be the owner. This can be conditioned and Mr. Rosenberg will help write it.
Mr. Johansen stated a copy of the g mut be sent to. DMF" and the
Commission will have to wait for their comments. The size and location of the
bows will be needed and proof of maihng to the conservancy. Float stops will
be conditioned to keep the floats 2 feet off the bottom.
VOTE: Motion made and seconded to close pending receipt of outstanding
items. Unanimous Vote.
It was noted the fees were overpaid and a refund from the Town forthcoming.
CLOSED PENDING.
7:40 CAPE CHRISTINA REALTY FRUST for demolition of an existing
dwelling and construction of new dwelling with open jointed patio at 82 Clover
Lane. John SIavinsky presenting with Kevin terrane. Abutter receipts were
provided. W. Slavinsky stated there is presently an exerting multiple unit
rental 5 bedroom building they would like to change into a single family
residence with the same number of bedrooms.
