Joint Dock ...Fera i tt.. .,_ .�j Process : Mr, Hanks stated this was tabled <br /> by Waterways s and suggested. that Coastal Resource Management <br /> Committee ( c) handle it. Since there are problems with <br /> getting a quorum for CRMC, this idea was rejected. The sub <br /> committee will discuss this next Tuesday, -and Mr. Rowland was <br /> asked to join thea. Dr. Gordon suggested giving applicants <br /> a handout about procedures for getting a dock permit and <br /> encourage thein to visit the appropriate agencies before a review <br /> by Con Com. Mr. Home er noted that any permits issued r i or <br /> to 1963 can bypass Con Coni, and applicants can qo directly to <br /> the State. Mr. Ellis noted that the Array corps t ry s to protect <br /> navigation, while Con core likes to move docks out to deeper <br /> water. <br /> Mr. Silver cited a news story about a -man spawning fish using <br /> a solar collector to heat the water, <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Mr. Hanks and Mr. Ellis presented their most recent plan for <br /> the Harbormaster build.iny ,, and they are seeking grant Funds <br /> with the help of Tom Cah it and- Henri Rau schenbach# Dr. Gordon <br /> and Mr. Hanks will ineet this week to draw a picture of the <br /> building. The title has been changed to "'down Landing" f row <br /> "Harbormaster Facility" to coincide with the grant <br /> Mr. Ellis reported that the Capital improvements Committee <br /> approved. $15 , 000 to be voted at Town Meeting ( $5 , 000 for <br /> permi is/eng-ineer.i ng and $10 , 000 for the dock) . Mashpee is the <br /> only town on the cape without a dock. The dock will be <br /> handicapped accessible. <br /> EMT training for water emergencies is being provided through <br /> Leisure Services, and Dr. Gordon suggested the Harbormaster <br /> and assistants take this course. Mr. Ell ' s will follow this <br /> up and report back to the Committee . Rev <br /> _iew of CPR procedures <br /> is required, <br /> Due to renovations at Town Hall , waterways 1-Liay select to meet <br /> at the Middle School or other town building.
