Mr. Ellis plans to respond to the twenty-five bass tournament <br /> agendas he received. He further plans to print and mail out <br /> 700 mooring bills in January. <br /> Currently , all of the boats are out of the water except for <br /> the pumpout boat , which is in the water at Little River <br /> Boatyard. There are eight center channel buoys left to pull <br /> out of Popponesset Bay. <br /> The new 'computer is 'working well , and Mr. Ellis spoke with Steve <br /> Buss about acquiring a new, higher duality printer. <br /> SUB COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br /> Fresh Water: 'Mr. Taylor stated that there was no meeting of <br /> the Mashpee-Wakeby Lake Management Committee and therefore no <br /> report to give. <br /> Pa onesset Bay: Mr. Silver passed out Minutes from the Mashpee <br /> Watershed Management Committee meeting held on November 10 , <br /> 1997 which included Dr. Brian Howes ' s findings on the Mashpee <br /> River, Shoestring Bay and Ockway Bay. <br /> Waguoit B`ay: Mr. Fordham reported all is quiet, and the ducks <br /> are back. <br /> Dreg: Mr. Taylor did not have a report to give. <br /> Waterways By-laws and Regulations: There was no activity , so <br /> Mr. Hanks did not have-areport to give. <br /> Update on Waterways Improvement Plan and Dredging Permits : <br /> Mr. Hanks reported that he and Mr. Silver met with Aubrey <br /> Consulting to discuss the next increment of modeling they would <br /> do. He showed them the plan to break up the Mashpee River into <br /> channel Segments A,B,C,D, and E. Segments A,B, and C get up <br /> to Orsini Beach, and D and E go up to Canaway ' s Cove. It will <br /> cost about $2 ,000 to run several scenarios incrementally going <br /> up the River, both, with sediments removed and sediments deposited <br /> as islands . Aubrey will submit a proposal for this work , which <br /> will include incorporating the Brian Howes water quality <br /> information. Mr. Hanks also discussed cubic yardage and costs <br /> to the extent information is available. <br /> Mr. Hanks , Mr. Silver , and Mr. Taylor attended a seminar on <br /> the dredge permitting process sponsored by Mass Coastal Zone <br /> Management. Mr. Hanks distributed and discussed a handout giving <br /> an overview of the permitting process. <br /> -3- <br />
