It is pretty
quiet.
Mr. York stated, regarding the issue of sharing Waquoit Bay for shellfishing with
Falmouth, that they finally put together a combined resource map of Falmouth and
Mashpee. Approximately thirty percent of the shellfish resource area of Waquoit Bay
property is in the Town of Mashpee. This gives us a pretty good situation for continued
sharing of the Bay. Mr. Hanks asked about a written agreement. Mr. York reported that
they are still working on that. He said the two possible outcomes could be the existing
agreement may be rewritten or cancellation of the existing agreement by Falmouth.
3.
