Aquaculture Moratorium Ob'ectives Discussion <br /> Mr. Ellis stated when we did it last February or March it was put forward to see what <br /> would happen when all the oysters started growing if it would kick the natural set of wild <br /> oysters from the native stock. He is probably going to ask for another year's extension. <br /> Mr. York seconded that. <br /> 7. Barnstable C.All"hiCoastal Resources Committee--Mr. Daly <br /> Mr. Daly reported that he spoke with Jim O'Connell, the Cape Cod Commission Staff <br /> member on the CRC. He has the potential of identifying <br /> grantquality analysis. Mr. Daly is going to contact him further egard regarding <br /> to support water <br /> g g grant money. <br /> Mr. Daly reported that the Cape Cod Commission is also doing some Nitrogen <br /> loading studies. They are monitoring some of the stuff that is coming into the Mashpee <br /> River. Mr. Hanks mentioned he would like to hear more about this issue to see if there <br /> was any"meat"to it. <br /> Mr. Daly reported that the USDA offers technical assistance, evaluations, and <br /> engineering design information on cranberry bogs. They are also looking at wildlife <br /> habitat improvement.
