On the back of that is the mooring <br /> specifications. He stated that goes out with the mooring bills, He also passed around the beginning of the <br /> regulations that pertain to mooring fees,which have never been updated since the by-laws were changed. <br /> He also had some other procedural things that need updating which were moved into-regulations rather than <br /> having them in the by-laws. Mr. Hanks asked who would like to serve on the Waterways and Regulations. <br /> Mr. Daly and Mr.Lumsden said they would do it. Mr. Hanks also stated the regulations brochure for <br /> handout has to be updated. <br /> 4. Waterways Irn rovernent Plan and Dredg'pg Permits--Mr.Hanks <br /> Mr.Hanks and Mr.Alis spoke with Ken Molloy, Mr.Molloy is going to set up a meeting with the <br /> people in Barnstable who are doing the three day project to see how they dealt with it. IIS.Molloy is also <br /> trying to find parties who are interested in dredging that channel in Popponesset Bay on the Cotuit side that <br /> was denied in 1986 or 1987. Mr. Lumsden stated that he would like to be included in that. <br /> As far as the Mashpee River situation goes,Mr.Hanks mentioned they have a plan of attack that he <br /> agreed to with Mane Boretos. It was decided the'waterways Commission will draft a paper outlining how <br /> we got to where we are;what the factor's are bearing on this issue and try to narrow it down to what we <br /> recon mend and why. That does get into habitat building. The bottom line,from everything M&.Hanks has <br /> heard,is we have to demonstrate to the Conservation Conmiission that we are going to improve wildlife <br /> habitat. Mr.Daly stated that we would need a titneline of what to expect in that area over one year,five <br /> years,etc, To support that end of it,Mr. Hanks has been browsing the Internet. He has downloaded some <br /> backup material. <br /> Mr. York said there was a project somewhere on the end of the Cape where they were taking the sand <br /> from underneath and putting it on top.
