MOTION was mads and seconded to approve the Minutes of the May 13, 1999 joint <br /> meeting with Conservation Commission and was voted unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> 1. Harbormaster Report —No report. <br /> 2. Shellfish Constable Report —Mr. York reported the past weekend was very busy. <br /> He also reported that nothing changed from the meeting on the ruppia grass. The <br /> shellfish grants will be allowed in the areas of the ruppia if the gear is placed where <br /> the grass is not. <br /> Mt-. Silver staffed that he noticed in Ockway Bay that there were a lot of sticks <br /> without markers on them in the water. Mr. York said he would look into it. <br /> 3. Committee Reports <br /> Fresh Water—Mr. Taylor <br /> Mr. Taylor reported they did not have a quorum of the Mashpee- Wakeby Lake <br /> Management Committee meeting. <br /> Pgp,Wponesset Bav Area — Mr. Silver <br /> Mr. Silver reported there were a lot of personal watercraft on Ockway Bay over the <br /> weekend. They would get out just after high tide and really run rampant. Mr. Silver <br /> also reported there were two boats that ran aground. Mr. Silver suggested that there <br /> be a sign at the Ockway ramp that states it is shallow water. Mr. Hanks said we <br /> should check with Mr. Ellis. <br /> Mashpee Watershed Committee <br /> Mr. Silver stated he is now back on the Watershed Committee with Mr. Hanks. <br /> 3 <br />
