Our by-law calls for no water
skiing or jet skiing until after 10:00 a.m. The people involved are named
McCaffrey. On April 8, Mr. Whritenour had written a letter to McCaffrey stating
we would not enforce the Town by-laws on Mashpee-Wakeby-, however, we would
enforce Chapter 90(b), 323(c) and provisions of the by-law pertaining to public
safety in general. Based on the comment Dick Murray said that he would enforce it
anyway, Perry Ellis went ahead and picketed them. Bob Whritenour instructed Mr.
Ellis not to enforce the by-laws on Mashpee-Wakeby. The people involved have
written a leiter to the selectmen with a complaint.
4, ging — Mr. Hanks
Watgrwgys Plan and Dred Permits,
Mr. Hanks reported we are still trying to sort out what is happening with the
sediment sampling plan. The response we received was Greg Penta
assigned someone to take our information and come back with the sediment
sampling plan.
Mr. Hanks also spoke with Judy Perry. She implied there are new requirements dor
sediment analysis and she would give us copies of it. Mx. Hanks sent her an e-mail
4
