There was an error noted in the title of the minutes to eliminate a typo of the word <br /> meetinga� being repeated. Jerald Daly made a motion to approve the minutes as <br /> amended. Bill Taylor seconded the motion and all other members voted in fav6r. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> L Harbormaster_R --Perry Ellis. <br /> The selectman signed the approved agreement with the County for maintenance <br /> dredging this spring at their last meeting. <br /> Mr. Ellis stated that he has tried unsuccessfully to reach Colonel Murray of the <br /> Environmental Police to set up a public hearing but thus far he has not heard back <br /> from him.. <br /> Jim Hanks has been in contact with them via e-mail and expects to hear back from <br /> them about confirming a date* we were tentatively scheduled for April 17 and 18 but <br /> it fell through. Jim does not know when we will meet because they have certain time <br /> windows when their scheduling is dome. <br /> The outside channel of Popponesset Bay in vineyard Sound has had about 400 feet <br /> dredged. <br /> Two boats are in the water as of this date. A new engine has been put on the Johns <br /> Pond boat. A new engine is being put in the l ashpee/Wakeby boat. we will be <br /> running all four-strobe engines this summer. Perry stated that the buoys will be <br /> painted soon, and thea the gear can start going into the water. <br /> The doers that were damaged by the ice this winter are being repaired as quickly as <br /> possibie. <br /> There are 111 people waiting for moorings. <br /> Our shellfish Constable, Kier York is currently in Florida. <br /> 2. Shellfish. onstabl .._Report-_Rick-- or. <br /> There is no report available at this time, <br /> 3. ommittee Deports <br /> Fresh water--William Taylor <br /> Mr. Taylor chaired the Lake Management Meeting but states that there is really <br /> nothing new to report at this time. Jim Hanks asked him if there was any additional <br /> interest in the Johns Pond issues. Bill replied that while there was interest,initially, at <br /> this latest meeting, members seemed more reluctant in getting involved in something <br /> new. <br />
