The Falmouth Harbormaster posted it accordingly early in the season last year. Mashpee did not alter the rules in the eastern portion of that area. I+ Public Conunent (resumed) Chairrnan Jhn Hanks suggested that we go around the room and introduce ourselves before we start the Shellfish Constable Reports. The Shellfish CoMMssion meeting was called to order at 7;28 p.m, Chantman, Steve Cadrin noted that there were three major items to be discussed at this meetmrxg; 1, Review of water Quality'Monftorffig Program 2. performance Reports from all Aquaculture Grant holders that will be open to feedback frorn both commissions, and 3, Three new proposals for Aquaculture grants a. Bob Bangs (new proposal), b. Steve Ball(revised proposal) and c. Mo Cassanelli (revised proposal). The meeting was then tined over to Rick York. Mr. York suggested, in the interest of time, gentlemen with the Aquaculture Grant Proposals might want to be heard first so that they may, if they wish., excuse themselves from the remainder of the meetings. Fick provided the use of an overhead projector so that everyone in the audience might better view the maps during presentation.. Steve Ball from 53 Amy Road made the first presentation of his Aquaculture Grant Proposal. Mr. Ball started his presentation off with mentioning that he has downscaled his proposal significantly from his previous one, Mr. Ball's first site is now 2,500 sq. feet. His second site at 156 Monomoscoy, which he is part owner of, is 2,180 sq. feet. Steve explained his proposal at length using a map and answered questions quite thoroughly. Mr. Hanks shared with everyone that he and Harbormaster perm Ellis had opportunity to visit the proposed site and neither of them could see any problem with amending last year's application, Herb Silver made a notion to amend Steve Balis Aquaculture Grant Proposal of last year for both proposed sites. Bill Taylor seconded the motion and all other corrmssion members voted in favor.
