Steveadrin motioned that Steve B aha s new proposal does not sipjficantly hnpact <br /> the shellfish resources. Sean Hendricks seconded the motions and all other Shellfish <br /> o rnrmssion members voted in favor. <br /> Herb suggested that on subsequent amendments, it right be helpful to have an <br /> overlay so that both old and new proposals can be seer4 thereby maw the changes <br /> easier to detect. <br /> Steve Ball farther asked if the two boards would have a problem with hirn mounting a <br /> 15-18 foot windmill on or near this site for the poses of aerati the area. <br /> irn Hanks suggested that Ir. Ball ral ht do well to entertain a means of aerating that <br /> might be less visible to homeowners in the area. Mr. Ball is concerned with the cost <br /> of energy using a standard aerator, <br /> Rick York commented that he didn't feel a windmill would be any more invasive than <br /> the standard aerator. <br /> Mr. Hams still thought that Mr. Ball nught run into some opposition on the windna W <br /> at Monomoscoy and suggested that solar panels are another way to go which would <br /> be less visible. <br /> The last Issue discussed with the boards was the upweHer. Mr. Hams stated that he <br /> would like to see more Beta s about the up eller before giving Mr. Ball feedback on <br /> Chaim-tans Steve Cadrin, of the Shellfish Con fission asked Steve BaU if he was <br /> satisfied and felt that he got the answers that he was looking for on his various issues,, <br /> Mr. Ba U responded favorably and the conissio ns decided to move on to the second <br /> Shellfish Grant application, <br /> Mo Cassahelli of 41 Monomoscoy road introduced himself to the boards and <br /> proceeded with his presentation. <br /> Mr. Cassanelli explained to the boards that his situation is entirely different, as he has <br /> already been approved by the army Corps of Engineers under one provision. This <br /> provision states that he move his grant from one area for reasons that are explained on <br /> the front page of his proposal to another area closer to shore. Mr. Cassonelli has <br /> proposed with Rick Fork as well as with Harbormaster, Perry Ellis to draw up a <br /> d 'erent grant layout, which has already been done. Mr. CassanelU then tallied with <br /> Eric Hutchim, Habitat Specialist from the rational Marine Fisheries Service who was <br /> representing the U.S. army Corps of En mneers' interests and explained the proposal <br /> to hire. Mr. Hutchins responded that it would be okay with the army Corps of <br /> Engineers if the Waterways Commission and Shellfish Constable had already <br /> approved the Grant, <br />
