20 February 1997 <br /> Page 4. <br /> CLOSED PENDING. <br /> 8:10 LOUISE LOUISSHERMAN on the proposed upgrade of an eidsting septic <br /> system to Title V regulations at 31 Fiddler Crab Lane. Jack Landers Cauley <br /> presenting. <br /> Mr. Johansen stated DEP number is missing and asked if they received Board <br /> of Health approval? Mr. Landers Cauley advised they received a variance a <br /> week ago for the property line. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated one of the cesspools to be abandoned is in the bank. He <br /> would life to know the methodology and how much disruption? <br /> Mr. Landers Cauley stated there are four cesspools to be abandoned. They <br /> will be wed by hand and left in placer Thought has been given to using then <br /> as a drywell, if possible. They are putting a pump on the north side to service <br /> the basement. <br /> Mr. Sherman had qualms about using them for dry r lls because they are o <br /> the bank. Filling with sand is a better option. Mr. Landers Cauley agreed. <br /> Mr. Sherman would like an inspection after they are filed to see what <br /> disruption has occurred.. It may require planting. <br /> Mr. Landers Cauley advised it is a title transfer and the new owners are <br /> an .ous to get in. <br /> Mr. Desrosiers asked if the other things shown on sheet one are existing? Mr. <br /> Landers Cauley stated there are no changes proposed to any structure other <br /> than Title V. Most utility limes will have to be relocated. <br /> Mr. Green questioned the proposed relocation as the notice only covens the <br /> septic. <br /> A r. Landers Cauley stated it is not in the description or narrative. Mr. <br /> Sherman asked him to add this to the notice and send it to DEP. The <br /> Commission will move forward. <br /> There was discussion of a statement concerning strip-out. Mr. Lancers <br /> Cauley had no problem with a special condition. fir. Sherman would prefer <br /> that all cesspools were filed and left. He agreed with three, but was <br /> concerned about one. <br /> Public comments: none. <br />
