This is all coastal.
Mshpee Water District: There is going to be pressure to undo what was
clone where the District went through, the great River load extension. They
were made to revegetate it. Pressure is on to let the road go through as the
Fire Chief wants it for access to houses. Greg Taylor also wants it because it
makes it easier to plow. The Agent did not think this was exempt from the
Rivers Act. Mr. Wiritenour is getting a legal opirl'on from Town Counsel. If
Town Counsel fmd.s it exempt, the Agent wiR run it by DEP. It will he a road
to town standards.
Mr. Green expressed concern with a paved surface. Mr. Sherman stated it
will come before the Commission.
Community Foundation of Cape Cod: They have grant money up to
1000. The Agent asked ed for help. Mr. Johansen volunteered to assist him.
VOTE: Motion made and seconded to authorize John Johansen to pursue
this matter and pay him $10 per hour. Unanimous Vote.
It was noted this must be in by June 30.
Maushop: There was a smaR spm of hydraulic fluid from a machine at
Maushop, less than a gallon. The Agent will see it tomorrow.
Enforcement:
Vining: The Agent found Mr. Vining putting down a foot of sand on his
beach. The work was stopped. He suggested a fine is in order because of the
flagrant disregard.
VOTE: Motion made and seconded to fixe &chael Vining $300.
Unanimous vote.
Mr. Rosenberg suggested Mr. Vining should be advised if anything occurs
again it gill go to court. In that case he can be held by the court in contempt.
fir. Sherman advised he can put the sand in the water because it is so high
that it is not a resource area. The top of bank is below water level so he can
go into the water and not file a Notice of Intent. He has hired Sanford
Ecological arid.they do a goad job.
