George Green reported he had met with National Heritage <br /> concerning the well; copies of the DIR are available. Elliot <br /> Rosenberg suggested it would be beneficial for representatives <br /> from National Heritage, the commission, and DEP to be in <br /> attendance at the August 7th Hearing, if possible. <br /> George Green explained that a letter has been issued <br /> regarding deficiencies within the document; the Commission is not <br /> the regulatory body. The Chairman suggested copies of the <br /> document be provided to all commissioners. <br /> 7 : 10 Steven Hynds, for a Determination of Applicability on <br /> proposed construction of a 261 x 36 , garage at 333 1onomos coy <br /> Island Road, Assessors Map 120, Block 28, RDA: Mr. Hynds <br /> explained he was constructing a garage, at some point he would <br /> like to construct two 2 bedrooms in the top level, construct a <br /> new septic system, demolish the existing dwelling, and add-on to <br /> the garage. At this point, he is requesting permission to <br /> construct a garage/storage within the flood zone. He stated <br /> the Building Department has been provided with copies of the <br /> Plan. <br /> Kathleen informed the commission that she had made an <br /> inspection of the property this date. She confirmed that Mr. <br /> Hynds has applied for a garage structure. Mrs. Hynds has <br /> requested language be added to the RDA stating that there are no <br /> bedrooms being proposed at this timne; should they be requested at <br /> a future date, Mr. and Mrs. Hynds would apply for proper process <br /> through the Conservation Commission and the Hoard of Health. <br /> There are no State performance standards; all Commission criteria <br /> has been met. She recommended the Cormnission render a negative <br /> determination. <br /> Harry Desrosiers suggested the following language be added, <br /> rt . . .no living quarters in the garage or bathroom la rarotor'ies. . . " <br /> Mrs . Hynds had no objection to this amendment which she made, <br /> signed and dated. <br /> Kathleen requested permission be given to build a storage <br /> area, not inclusive of bedrooms and/or plumbing. If and when <br /> plumbing issues are brought before the Building Department, the <br /> Commission would be notified. <br /> MOTION-- George Green made a Motion for a Negative <br /> Determination; which motion was seconded by Harry Desrosiers <br /> and so voted unanimously. <br /> 7 : 15 Edna H. Sobel, for a Determination of Applicability on <br /> the installation of water service tubing from Duck Blind Road to <br /> the dwelling at 56 Duck Blind Road,- Assessors map 57, Bloch 49, <br /> RDA: <br /> There being no one present to represent Mrs. Sobel, Kathleen <br /> -2- <br />
