5 <br /> The commissioners informed Mr. Olands of the imposed <br /> requirement of a dry-well, leaching pit, and the absence of <br /> chlorine with regard to drainage issues. the Commissioners <br /> further suggested any interested members of the public aro <br /> encouraged to attend the legally advertised Public Hearings in <br /> order to address their concerns. The Agent/Assistant are also <br /> available to inform members of the public of any Decisions made <br /> by the co mi cion <br /> Mr. olands further expressed concern regarding the floating <br /> dock. He mach reference to a pre-existing float on the Pond and <br /> addressed some of the problems incurred therewith. The Chairman <br /> .informed Mr. olands this matter was not within the jurisdiction <br /> of the Commission; the Commission' s concern is for the wetlands <br /> Protection Act. Elliot Rosenberg informed Mr. olands of a <br /> requirement for Special Permit from the zoning Board of Appeals, <br /> which Notice will be duly published, all abutters will be <br /> notified. <br /> Peter tent s, Chairman Fells Pond village committee, <br /> representing one hundred-fifty homeowners . He expressed a <br /> concern with the dock issue, he feels 34 feet is too .long, and <br /> not necessary for boating purposes. Mr. tents indicated a slope <br /> in the road, and a storm drain which runs into the Pond. He <br /> stated that everything from the street is being drained into the <br /> Pond via the storm drain as a result of the house construction <br /> and haybales. Mr. Grotske suggested placing more haybales around <br /> as an immediate resolution. <br /> Mr. Zents requested the Cormnission address the issues of the <br /> length of the dock and its intended use. Mr. Rosenberg <br /> reiterated this matter be brought before the Zoning Board of <br /> Appeals. The Chairman interjected his concern that said dock may <br /> have an effect on the habitat. George Green stated the Public <br /> Hearing with respect to the issue of the dock has been closed. <br /> The Commissioners advised the members of the public of the appeal <br /> process through DFP, should they continue to have concerns in <br /> this regard. <br /> Mr. Grotske assured Mrs. Ridge that there is to be a <br /> retaining wall constructed back to the existing grade. <br /> MOTION: George Green made a motion to accept the amendment; <br /> which lotion was seconded by Harry Desrosiers and so voted <br /> unanimously. <br /> 0 Alfred Cole en, Continuance from July 10, 1997, No I . <br /> Paul Sweetzer stated he had prepared the Plan.
