August 1997 <br /> Page 9. <br /> Mr. Sherman advised George Heufelder stated it was a firm quote for the two <br /> years. <br /> Mr. Fitzsimmons asked if after the two years they would go one way or the <br /> other? Mr. Sherman stated they would. Testing will he done every quarter of <br /> the two years. He suggested a conference call with Mr. Heufelder. <br /> Mr. Fitzsimmons told Mr. Sherman to tell Mr. Sheehan the Commission is not <br /> ready to do anything. This is a natter of more than language, it is a very <br /> different concept. <br /> It was the consensus to bring this back for discussion in two weeks. <br /> Holland Mills Update: Deirdre Greelish will be present for the Public <br />' Comment period on August 21. Handouts were distributed for review. <br /> Lavern Standards: Clarification - handout. <br /> Lopez: The passing iS scheduled for later this month. Deed was signed. <br /> Biles: Use on Conservation land will need a public hearing. The Agent <br /> advised of a serious situation in Sa.ntuit Pond Conservation area. Children <br /> have been building bike paths in the ancient ways. - Policy should be for use <br /> only in certain designated areas. The State does allow them and the <br /> Commission is going to have to cone to some decision. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg asked ed i Police would provide enforcement? Mr. Sherman <br /> stated no, but thea parents could be approached. He asked how the <br /> Commission wanted him to handle this? He suggested contacting the DPW <br /> to remove the jumps; that may do it, or get the Conservation Corps involved. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg suggested he notify the Police and DPW and get the DPW to <br /> remove them and see if the Police will make sure they are not put back. Mr. <br /> Sherman will also post a sign they cannot do things on Conservation land <br /> without a permit. He would talk to the kids if he knew who they were. The <br /> neighbors will not say because they have gotten death threats. <br /> Sullivan: The house is being sold. Don Schall made recommendations that <br /> have been mostly carried out. Vegetation is coming bal . He suggested <br /> giving there a Certificate of Comphance as the new owner seems quite <br /> cooperative. The new owner may wwh to falkw Ikon Sc aff <br /> recommendations, so maintenance could be allowed. if they choose to do <br />
