18 September 199
Page 12.
VOTE: Motion Ornade and seconded to close pending receipt of DEP number
and an on-site with the Agent and Rebecca Haney and her comments
being incorporated into the Order of Conditions. Unanimous Vote.
CLOSED P NI ING0
10 DANIEL ST. PIERRE to clean up debris, dead trees and bush, reclaim
disturbed area with native shrubs, pruning for vista and a request for
maintenance in perpetuity at 95 Pickerel Cove Road. Mr, St. Pierre stated he
is a horticulturist. The area was cut to the ground, 6-8". If nothing is done,
something wiR grow back. Vista -Pruning i requested. in accordance and
under the direction of the IAgent to keep it maintained because buU briar will
cover everything up again. work will be done by hand and no herbicides will
be used.
Ms T rrio stated there was an on-site and the area of concern is distance.
They went back 65 feet and cutting was observed well into 100 feet from the
pond. Where were seven gees that were cut as well.
1 Ir. Sherman added,
cutting that does require this Wig.
Mr. St. Pierre stated that was done by the previous owner. Mr. Sherman
stated that is a moot point because the present owner is responsible for the
past three years.
Ms Terrio stated they would have to mix plantings, something ether than
sweet pepper bush.
Mr. Sherman stated they would have to change the shape of it, it is wider
than shown, an area of ' wide and at least 100' back. A new plan i
necessary. Also, fees have to be revisited, They can amend the Order o
Conditions to include fence work. He recommended focusing on the plantings
i now and, to come back for the amended order for the fence.
W. Rosenberg raised questions on the property lune. lir. Sherman advised
there is some doubt about that. The current owner has to reach an amicable
agreement with the abutters. He stated there is another issue of a drain pipe
for the driveway causing erosion. It may not be within loo feet but the effects
of the erosion is. This must be addressed. An amended order could address
drainage and the fence.
Pubes comment:nt: i . Kewirnan, representing the hoxneow rs' association,
presented a letter which was read into the record by the Chair.
