18 December 1997 <br /> Page 12. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg suggested those people should be advised to bring it up to the <br /> Selectmen in writing. It should be put on the record that the Commission is <br /> responding to a complaint from the public. Tell them to write to the <br /> Selectmen and give the Commission a copy. The Commission agreed. <br /> Conservation Land Maintenance & Improvement Fund: This source of <br /> funds may be drying up. The Comm fission 'is assured of getting $60K this <br /> year. The present balance i $16,72 1. <br /> Asst. Conservation Agent: Further training to be discussed with the <br /> Executive Committee.. <br /> The Asst. Agent has requested to have her hours increased. Also received was <br /> a request to increase the hourly wage rates for Tour Guides and the <br /> Coordinator. <br /> The Agent read from the budget guidelines from the Executive Secretary <br /> concerning the Town's position that there be no increases in salaries or <br /> anything else. <br /> Mr. Green stated it would not be possible to go forward sunder a "no increase <br /> budget. <br /> lr. Desrosiers asked if hours are ,increased would it not change the status? <br /> The Agent advised that would require added health cage costs and.benefits. <br /> VOTE: lotion that since the Commission has been advised by the Executive <br /> Secretary that there may not be any additions all requests must be <br /> refused, the 'T'our Guides, Coordinator and Asst. Conservation Agent. <br /> Unanimous Vote. <br /> Reg. Revisions: upconung revisions are Top of Coastal Bank; Necessary <br /> Information; Removal of Luted Project references from Freshwater Wetland <br /> regulations; Rivers regulations; and Naturally Vegetated Buffer strip paths. <br /> The Agent stated he will have a copy reach by the next meeting for Top o <br /> Coastal Bank. Other materials distributed for review. Hearing slate to be <br /> determined at the next meeting. <br /> santuit Pond-Dike & Purnph use: The Agent advised he has been <br /> approached by Doug Beaton for repair work. Wile it looks like normal <br /> maintenance, there is a provision in the regulations that if worg in a Pond <br /> or tier, they still have to file. 1r.
