5 February 1998 <br /> Page 21. <br /> Merganser Well: List of required material reviewed. A copy provided to the <br /> Water District. A meeting was held with Mario I iGregorio, their consultant. <br /> Greg Wirs n attended with the Agent; it was productive. The type addition <br /> to number three is what Mr. Sherman asked to be added to the list of <br /> subcomponents of the project. It was agreed this is a legitimate request. He <br /> suggested a vote that the list prepared by Mr. DiGreg rio is adequate for the <br /> time being. <br /> The Chairman asked if the Water District had approved Mr. iGregorio's bill? <br /> Mr. Sherman stated not formally, he is waiting for approval. They agreed on <br /> all these things at the meeting. When the is made, further questions <br /> can be asked and more information requested. The right wih be reserved to <br /> ask them to substantiate some of their findings. <br /> The Chairman stated that was sufficient as an update; no vote required. <br /> Coastal Zone Management* Letter received from CZM. As part of the <br /> project at VVBNERR, they had done research on the impact from human <br /> actions in nearby areas. wetlands were rated.. They want to carte this a step <br /> further at no cost. They will look at these 6 - 8 wetlands further and <br /> recommend mitigating ways to improve then. They have applied for a grant. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to endorse the proposal. <br /> Unanimous Yate. <br /> EIB Problem: The Agent advised.that Mr. VALritenour asked him to write <br /> position paper regarding reimbursement with recommendations. This was <br /> reviewed with Mr. Johansen who thought it was fair to go ahead with it and it <br /> became the offal town position. Copies circulated. The next step is to see i <br /> the Air Force wig commit to pang for the '98 crop. They appear to he <br /> staffing. Where are joint meetings coming up with EPA and Mass. Dept. of <br /> Public Health to see if they can agree on a joint protocol. <br /> N4-r.
