23 July 1998
Page 10.
Mr. Green stated the generator is 10 feet long, if the plan is accurate. Mr.
Lynch stated the pad may be, but the generator is not. Mr. Green thought
the noise level should be checked.
Mr. Lynch advised there is a shroud covering the generator which is much
smatter than the shroud. The owner paid $5000 to build the shroud over the
generator. It reduces the decibel level of noise coming from the generator to
that which is less than these condensing units. With a decibel meter, if a
reading was taken around the house when the generator wasn't running and
compared it to a reading with the generator on, it would show no difference.
Mr. Sherman suggested not closing to allow him to go out with his assistant
and the Building Inspector and listen to this unit.
Mr. Lynch advised the Building Inspector has been out there and has

approved this.
Mr. Snow asked to attend also.
Dr. Shaminash asked if for the location of the playhouse. He did not believe
this to be acceptable. He pointed to the area on the plan where he would like
to have it moved. All the beautiful. trees that were on the bank are gone.
This has to be treed. This is a two-story house that hooks down an his
bedroom and dawn. He has a 6'high fence and their windows are higher.
The Chair stated those issues cannot be addressed as they are not germane
to the Act and the Bylaw.
VOTE: Motion made and seconded to continue the hearing at the request of
the applicant to 6 August 1995 at 7:40 p.m. Unanimous Vote.
HEARING CONTINUED TO fi AUGUST 1998 AT 7:40 P.M.
Minute:
VOTE: Motion mads and seconded to approve the minutes of 2129/98;
315 and 3/19/98; 412, 4116 and 4/30{98; 5/14 and 5/28/98; fi/ll
and 6/25!98, as written.
