23 July 1998 <br /> Page 2. <br /> Stamped plans were presented. The septic will be moved to the back. <br /> Public comment: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to find negative. Unanimous Vote. <br /> NEGATIVE DETERMINATION, <br /> 7:24 BRIARW(?UD HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION for repair of <br /> parking area at 261 Haoppole Road, entrance to beach at Hilltop Road and <br /> Cranberry Ave. intersection. Carl Gustafson xepresen#ing AFCEE was <br /> present. Also Lee Perry and Ted Lewis, a Director of the Association. <br /> Mr. Gustafson advised that as part of the work the Air Force is doing in the <br /> plume studies, they had to launch a barge, with the approval of the <br /> Commission and Harbormaster, from the parking area. When they brought <br /> the crane in, they damaged the existing asphalt. They would dike to put <br /> down 2" of bituminous concrete base coat and a top coat. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated be discussed this with Mr. Gustafson and his concerns <br /> have been addressed with haybales. He is not sure about the dense grade <br /> area. <br /> Mr. Green stated he could not tell what the grades are. Mr. Gustafson stated <br /> it is flat with a slight dope to the pond. They could crown the parking area <br /> to drain to the grassy area. Mr. Green sated crushed stone would slow the <br /> water more. Mr. Green recommended s/4" stone and Mr. Gustafson agreed. <br /> Mr. Fitzsimmons asked if the footprint is the same? Mr. Lewis stated it is. <br /> There is no paving into the water. <br /> Public comment: none. <br /> VOTE. Motion made and seconded to find negative. Unanimous Vote. <br /> NEGATIVE DETERMINATION. <br /> 7:25 KENNETH CHAMPION for a Determination of Applicability on a <br /> request to remove existing steps from the house to approximately 35' from <br /> the water's edge of Fells Pond; replace the steps by hand; and to place an 8' x <br /> 12'platform approximately 10' from the water's edge at 124 Fells Pond Road. <br />
