They went through the Commission <br /> previously for the tight tank which was approved by this Board and the <br /> Board of Health. It was denied at the state level; they M* sist upon a Title V <br /> solution. A compromise was reached that satisfies the Board of Health; they <br /> were going to require denitrification. He does not feel, in this case, it is the <br /> right thing to do. Mrs. Baker has agreed if the building is ever to be <br /> expanded, she will go to the Board of Health again. It is a primitive two <br /> bedroom. Flans are for standard Title V. <br /> Mr. Green commended the applicant for trying to do things the right way. It <br /> is 50 feet from the edge of the salt marsh; this needs to be addressed. <br /> Public comment: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to close the hearing. Mr. Brick was present with Steve viglas. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated there is a violation on the property. Someone cut a <br /> swath of natural vegetation right to the water. He would not recommend <br /> mowing any g of the wall until they agree to a reveget tti n plan. <br /> Details on construction methodology need more specificity. Where is no cross <br /> section. He asked what will happen to the natural vegetation adjacent. Mr. <br /> iglas stated it will not be disturbed. <br /> Mr. Johansen stated the narrative says 60 feet but the drawing states 90 <br /> feet. <br /> Mr. Sherman read from the narrative. He asked how much excavation will <br /> be necessary behind the wall to do this work? Mr. viglas stated very little, a <br /> lot has eroded out. Mr. Sherman asked., when they take this section of wall <br /> out, how is it not going to slump? <br /> Mar. Green asked how steep is the slope's Mr. Sherman stated it is a vertical <br /> wad, behind where it is eroded it is 60 °. <br />
