Lynn Hamlyn presenting. A new plan provided showing
the extension taken back out of the dune area. CZM had no problem with it.
It wiH extend to the edge of the foundation. This area was already disturbed
by foot traffic. The edge of the dune is at the edge of the mophila.
Mir. Sherman had a problem with the concept at the end of it. It is stili into
the edge of the dune. Stairs could go over the dune. To meet performance
standards, it would have to return to nogg.
Ms Hamlyn stated the structure is in the A-zone, not i the -zone. It will
cut into a bit of the beach grass but it is transient.
Mr. Ahern.an stated it does not meet perform an a standards. Te
suggested they bridge the dupe and return the wall into nothing. It would be
permitted only because it is existing, but not to add to it. Taper it to grade.
They would have to be removable stairs. Ms Hamlyn had no problem with
this if the Commission would dose pending a revised plan. Sherman
requested a probe.
Mr. Rosenberg asked if the work is to be done from the beach? Ms Hamlyn
stated it can be done by hand, it will be done in the winter. It will need to be
recorded on three properties.
Public comment: none.
VOTE Motion made and seconded to dose pending plan revision as
discussed. Unanimous Vote.
