Mr.'Bernard was <br /> asked if he wanted to continue? He stated this is the second time he was <br /> here. The first time a decision was not made and it was continued. Now, the <br /> second time and no decision is made. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated he has to examine the raze species regulations and see <br /> whether the alligations are correct. <br /> The Chair advised Mx. Unanimous Vote, <br /> HEARING CONTINUED TO 21 January 1999 <br /> 7:40 AIR FORCE CENTER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL EXCELLENCE <br /> for Superfund remediation activity, including installation of a series of <br /> earthen berms, installation of an extraction well, extraction trench, injection <br /> trench and bubbler structure, construction of new cranberry bog and <br /> construction of a treatment facility at 110 Grafton Pocknett Road (Quashnet <br /> River Cranberry Bogs, north of Johns Pond and south of Grafton Pockn.ett <br /> Road). <br /> Mr. Sherman wanted to make clear that this hearing is being held under <br /> Chapter 172, the local bylaw, and the Wetlands Protection Act. There are <br /> ether issues about the project that deal with leases and access and so forth <br /> which are not the subject of tonight's hearing and have-to be worked out in a <br /> separate way. He met with the major parties in this three or four times over <br /> the past few weeks. Progress has been made in terms of details. The <br /> chances are very slim of closing tonight because of missing pieces of <br /> information. This is being worked on. <br /> Tom Szymoniak introduced Nancy Balkus, Project Manager for AFCEE.
