April 1999 <br /> Page 11. <br /> FEARING CONTINUED TO 22 APRIL 1999 AT 8:05 PAA <br /> 8:35 MICHAEL VINING to amend the order of Conditions for SE 43-1756 <br /> to install a concrete wall in lieu of the wooden landscaping wall permitted at <br /> 9 Janes Circle. John slavinsky presenting. <br /> IVH Sherman advised this was originally approved with a wood retaining <br /> wall. <br /> Mr. slavinsky advised they will disrupt soils two more feet by putting <br /> footings in. All that is being discussed is the wall. Mr. Sherman stated the <br /> wall will become the work limit and erosion control. How will they get the <br /> wall in without destabilizing the slope? Mr. Slavi sky stated the wall will sit <br /> in the air while the excavation takes place. They will cut a narrow corridor <br /> for the footings and the forms. He advised, financially, the cost of the' wooden <br /> ray wall was exorbitant. He asked, if this is okayed this evening, could they start <br /> this next geek` Mr. Sherman stated the legal answer is no. <br /> Mr. Slavinsky stated the building next door has concrete walls. His building <br /> has wooden walls. When originally done, it would face the other neighbor <br /> and concrete would not look that bad Iff faced. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg asked (pointing) if that wooden wall was there now` Mr. <br /> slavinsky stated it is and it will stay. Mr. Sherman stated haat will serve as <br /> erosion control also. <br /> Public comment: novo. <br /> 5 <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to accept the amendment as proposed. <br /> Unanimous Vote. � <br /> AMENDMENT N ACCEPTED. <br /> John West: Request received concerning his project for an addition haat is <br /> generating a lot of fill. He wants to put this down in land subject to our <br /> jurisdiction. Mr. Sherman told him that he has no permit that includes that <br /> work and that he could not do this. <br /> a <br /> J. Braden Thompson Plume: Mr. Sherman advised he is on a joint <br /> committee with sandwich and Mashpee. There are low levels of TCT and <br /> 1 <br />
