I <br /> i <br /> MASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> i <br /> Minutes of 8 April 1339 <br /> r <br /> I <br /> I <br /> Coni issioners present: Elliot Rosenberg, Chair Pro Tem; John Johansen, <br /> Ralph Shaw, Tad vollenhaupt, George Green Jr. <br /> The meeting was called to order at 6.-55 p.m. with a quorum present. <br /> 6:55 PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: David Bennett of Bennett & O'Reilly <br /> cane forward representing the project at Half Tide Marina. He asked to <br /> enter into the record the facility plans for the full facility. During the tank <br /> pull, contamination was discovered, <br /> The Chair asked if this should come up in a regular hearing and if the <br /> Commission would have to tape action on this? Mr. Sherman stated Mr. <br /> Bennett is updating the Commission. An order of Conditions was issued. <br /> .Asked if an amendment would be necessary, Mr. Sherman did net think so. <br /> Mr. Bennett stated it is a quasi continuation but informal in that minor <br /> contamination was found. They will remove some soils and directly truck it <br /> to an asphalt batching facility. In addition, the Commission wanted to have <br /> full detailed plans. All work to be done in one day. The scope of work is not <br /> changing. <br /> Mr. Green had requested this data. <br /> I <br /> Mr. Bennett stated it was the intent of the Commission when heard to take <br /> the plan under advisement pending approval of the Fire partrnent. <br /> Plans to be reviewed and discussed next agenda, if necessary. <br /> Town Planner was present with management plans for the properties bought <br /> with self-help monies. The only change is a small parking lot. He requested <br /> approval and signatures certifying approval. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to approve the management plan for the <br /> ru.ley property. Unanimous Vote, <br /> Mr. Fudala stated the second property is the Fitch property, similar to the <br /> Lopez property. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to accept the management plan for the <br /> Fitch property. Unanimous vote. <br />
