I i MASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION i Minutes of 8 April 1339 r I I Coni issioners present: Elliot Rosenberg, Chair Pro Tem; John Johansen, Ralph Shaw, Tad vollenhaupt, George Green Jr. The meeting was called to order at 6.-55 p.m. with a quorum present. 6:55 PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: David Bennett of Bennett & O'Reilly cane forward representing the project at Half Tide Marina. He asked to enter into the record the facility plans for the full facility. During the tank pull, contamination was discovered, The Chair asked if this should come up in a regular hearing and if the Commission would have to tape action on this? Mr. Sherman stated Mr. Bennett is updating the Commission. An order of Conditions was issued. .Asked if an amendment would be necessary, Mr. Sherman did net think so. Mr. Bennett stated it is a quasi continuation but informal in that minor contamination was found. They will remove some soils and directly truck it to an asphalt batching facility. In addition, the Commission wanted to have full detailed plans. All work to be done in one day. The scope of work is not changing. Mr. Green had requested this data. I Mr. Bennett stated it was the intent of the Commission when heard to take the plan under advisement pending approval of the Fire partrnent. Plans to be reviewed and discussed next agenda, if necessary. Town Planner was present with management plans for the properties bought with self-help monies. The only change is a small parking lot. He requested approval and signatures certifying approval. VOTE: Motion made and seconded to approve the management plan for the ru.ley property. Unanimous Vote, Mr. Fudala stated the second property is the Fitch property, similar to the Lopez property. VOTE: Motion made and seconded to accept the management plan for the Fitch property. Unanimous vote.
